Williamsburg brings us the largest groups we cook for. Family reunions, wedding weekends, and multi-generational holiday tables where the guest count starts at sixteen and grows. The food matters, but the plan matters more.

Where we cook

Kingsmill, Ford's Colony, Governor's Land, New Town and the rental houses around the Historic Area and Colonial Williamsburg. Large rentals are common here, and they come with the same caveat as beach rentals: assume the kitchen is under-equipped and plan for it.

Cooking for sixteen to thirty at home

Above roughly sixteen guests, plated service needs more hands than one chef. We bring a team so courses land together, and we often recommend a hybrid: a plated first course, family-style mains down the center of the table, and a dessert tray. It keeps a big table feeling like a family meal rather than a banquet.

Wedding weekends

Rehearsal dinners, welcome dinners and morning-after brunches are a large share of our Williamsburg calendar. Booking all three at once is easier on everyone and lets us vary the menus so nobody eats the same thing twice in thirty-six hours.

Holidays and reunions

Notice we need

Holiday weekends and the spring and fall wedding seasons fill early in Williamsburg. Four to six weeks is comfortable for a large group; smaller dinners are often possible with less.
