Portsmouth is one of the most rewarding places we cook. Olde Towne has homes with dining rooms built for entertaining two centuries ago, and the waterfront gives a dinner a view most restaurants in the region cannot match.

Where we cook

Olde Towne, Park View, Churchland, Cradock and Westhaven. From the Southside we plan around the Downtown and Midtown tunnels; we schedule load-in outside peak windows so arrival time is predictable rather than optimistic.

Historic homes, modern service

Many Olde Towne kitchens are compact and set apart from the dining room, which is fine as long as service is planned. We stage courses close to the table, plate together, and keep the walking distance short so nothing arrives lukewarm. Formal rooms deserve properly paced courses, and that is our default here.

Coastal menus

Portsmouth sits on the water, and the menus we cook here reflect it. Local oysters to start, rockfish or crab as a main in season, and something rich to finish. If a table would rather have short rib and potatoes, that is an equally good night.
